Three motors hold the lens level while your hand moves. Your phone crops into the frame and guesses — losing resolution, adding warp, and still drifting on every footstep. This corrects the movement before the sensor ever sees it. That is the entire difference, and it is visible in the first three seconds of footage.
A touchscreen on the body and a lens that flips a full 180 degrees. Frame it properly, check you are actually in shot, switch to yourself mid-walk without stopping. Action cameras make you guess and find out later.
