What each part does, and what it means for the footage that comes out.
Pitch, yaw and roll — the three ways a hand moves while walking. Each has a motor countering it in real time, keeping the lens level while the body moves independently around it. The result is footage that glides rather than steps, and it is obvious within seconds of watching it back.
The touchscreen shows what the lens sees, so nothing is filmed blind. The lens itself rotates a full 180 degrees, turning from the view in front of you to your own face without breaking the shot. Walk-and-talk, then pan to what you are talking about, in one continuous take.
You shot it, you watched it back, and it was wobbly. Not unusable — just amateur. Every step visible, the horizon drifting, that faint warp around the edges where the phone tried to fix it and couldn't.
